TESTING UNDERSTANDING FROM THE OTHER SIDE

In today’s chapter we read it and it was a foggy and rainy day and I think the weather was set like that so we can feel a mood another thing that happened is that daisy had a guy that gives her fantastic and nice shirts and she was showing the guy and all of the sudden she started to cry because she “loved the shirts”

Gatsby questions

Chapter 1 •who is daisy? •who is nick? Chapter 2 •what excuses does myrtle use to leave? •who is Tom? Chapter 3 •what rumors were spread about gatsby in the party? •who is Jordan baker? Chapter 4 •who fixed the World Series in 1919? •how does gatsby know daisy?

Gatsby (pg.65-69)

Chapter to started with 2 girls making fun of gatsby while they both eat his food and cut his flowers and a big event that happened in chapter 4 was that there was a big party with a lot of people with wierd names and there were drunk.

GATSBY pp._

The pages we read were sad because mrs Wilson got her nose husband because she got hit and it started bleeding a lot and she had lots of blood coming out her nose so she had to use lots of towels in order for it to stop.

BQGSD

What happened in chapter 2, was messed up because she was bossy and mean she didn’t even say hey to her husband and asked the husband to go get some chairs for a guy and the wife and made plans with Tom and they both left and made the husband look dumb.

What’s in my big question for me

My big question is really my frustration with what society has become. Exploring this topic will hopefully shine the lights to what has been happening and will hopefully open the eyes of others for the better

Dark patterns

after reading an article on dark patterns it has really opened my eyes and connected so many thoughts I’ve had about this topic that I didn’t know it had a specific name. Dark patterns are when online websites influence and guide you to do something they want u to do even if u didn’t intend to originally

Hopefunk

Hopefunk is a new genre in American literature that authors use to share a passion in a certain topic regardless of how controversial it is. So the genre shows/allows characters to stand up for what/who they believe in which is is why it has the root word of “hope”
