I think the book takes a weird turn right as you read the first chapter. There are so many weird and bizarre details that the book explains. Such as the fire fighter that burns books or should I say illegal books and the owners that own the books. In my state of mind I believe that he is somewhat crazy in someway because who in their right mind would want to burn a book. Maybe it’s because he’s full of anger and rage from his past or maybe simply because he’s a psycho. When Monty asks himself why are books so dangerous it made me think of different ways that a book may be dangerous. It usually depends on the title or where the book came from because if people think books are dangerous then the book must have a dangerous past in order for it to be dangerous.
